Dear Guests,

Here are the most important house rules we would like to bring to your attention.

If you have preferences for a specific spot, we will try to accommodate them, but it may not always be possible. We hope for your understanding in this regard.

You can check in from 13:30 and check out by 11:00. Early check-in is not possible! The arrival time is between 13:30 and 17:00. If you are arriving later, please let us know in advance.
For our rental accommodations, check-in is from 15:00. Early check-in is not possible.
The reception is closed between 12:00 and 13:30 for a break and to prepare the campsite for new guests.
If you need to cancel suddenly, we refer you to your cancellation insurance.
The barefoot path is only accessible with an entry ticket (which you can purchase at reception) and during opening hours.
If you have booked a spot without preference, we reserve the right to assign you a different spot than the one listed in your booking confirmation.
You may receive up to 5 visitors per day, and they must park their cars in front of the barn. This also applies to visitors for birthdays. You can purchase a QR code for your visitors in advance at reception. If your visitors are arriving by bike, they must be registered at reception in advance. We have a visitor rate.
Camping equipment must be placed no more than 80 cm from the hedge, where it is present.
Do not use plastic under the tent or canopy; use breathable fabric.
Water balloons are not allowed on our grounds as we want to take care of nature, and unfortunately, guests do not clean up after using them.
Young people under 18 are not allowed without a parent or guardian.
Group camping is not allowed on our site. A group consists of 3 or more camping units. If you book separately and arrive with more camping units, please note that we may refuse you.
Upon arrival and departure, you may park your car on the campsite. We offer a cart for many shopping trips.
If you have reserved a camping spot for a motorhome up to 6.5 meters, we reserve the right to move you to the motorhome parking area in case of bad weather, without prior consultation.
Electric heaters over 400 watts are not allowed. We prefer petroleum/oil or gas heaters. We assume that all equipment on the campsite does not exceed 900 watts of power usage.
Dogs must be kept on a leash or behind a sheep fence on our grounds. We assume your dog does not disturb other guests.
From 22:30 in the evening until 8:00 in the morning, quiet hours are in effect. During these hours, additional measures may be imposed for maintaining order. You can always call us at night in case of emergency or noise disturbance from other guests.
From April 1st, water will be available at spots with a water tap. From October 1st, water will be turned off across the campsite.
By booking with us, you agree that photo and video material may be taken during your stay, and this may be distributed by the campsite for commercial purposes via the website, email newsletters, print materials, and social media.
Open fires are strictly prohibited (campfires, fire pits, torches, etc. are not allowed). Barbecues should be placed off the grass, and not too close to the tents. Firefighting equipment must be within reach (water bucket).
Camping de Gouwe Stek reserves the right to temporarily close the sanitary building for maintenance work, without guests being entitled to a full or partial refund of the paid rental amount.
Depending on occupancy, toilets or showers may be closed.
When departing, the camping spot must be left clean.

You can camp with us for a maximum of 2 months during the season. Longer stays are only possible by agreement. We no longer offer seasonal pitches.
If you stay longer than 2 weeks, you must maintain the grass yourself.
Motorhomes over 5.5 meters are not allowed on the camping spots. Please be aware that we, as a campsite, do not have the means to pull you out if you get stuck; this is your own responsibility. Our motorhome pitches are paved and are specifically for motorhomes up to 9 meters. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate motorhomes longer than 9 meters.
In case of a violation of any of the above rules or if there is otherwise disruptive behavior that affects the good atmosphere of the campsite, the campsite owner reserves the right to refuse further access to the premises.
