In a peaceful environment

Welcome to our campsite!

In the beautiful West Friesland landscape, you can enjoy an attractive stay with us at the campsite or in one of our gypsy wagons/safari tents or holiday home.

We have spacious camping pitches for your caravan, tent or camper. You can also choose a standard camping pitch or comfort pitch. Are you looking for a field with playground equipment or without? Do you want sun or shade? There is choice for everyone.

Our 3 sanitary buildings on the campsite are all equipped with spacious showers and toilets.

There is a large fishing pier at the campsite, where various fish are caught. There is a beautiful recreation area (Streekbos) 500 meters away. Here you can enjoy swimming, SUPing, canoeing, climbing, stargazing and enjoying a snack and drink. There is a separate swimming lake and off-leash area for the dog.

We organize small-scale entertainment ourselves during the May and summer holidays.

We have paved pitches with grass tiles for campers. We are open all year round for campers, but you must be self-sufficient during the winter months. From October 21, the camping fields will be closed, and if you want to camp with us, you must be self-sufficient. There is electricity, wifi and you can discharge water. From March 21, 2025 we will be fully open again. You can make reservations for 2025 from 10 December.

There is room for everyone, campers, caravans, tents, cyclists... you name it!

Camping de Gouwe Stek has several fields. There is a place for everyone according to their needs. Would you rather be cozy with others or would you rather be a bit secluded without neighbors? Would you like there to be a playground or not? You can say it! There are several fields, and each field has something specific. There is also a separate and partly paved camper area.

For cyclists we have places for cyclists with a view of the water, these are without electricity.

It is possible to use electricity at all pitches, some pitches have their own tap with running water and drainage, these are our comfort pitches

Enjoy with your family, friends, or quietly alone or as a couple.

There is a cozy Boetje at the campsite: the Konkelboet, which everyone can use freely. In addition, there are swings, bicycles and go-karts, and various other play equipment. Have you ever walked the barefoot path? Fun to do for all ages. Besides being fun to do, it also appears to be good for your health.

Child friendly

Almost all fields have play equipment for the smaller children, so that they can play and you can keep a close eye on them from your spot. For the older children there is a large pirate ship, volleyball and football field and several playground equipment. There is a playground on almost every field. There are also sports fields, bicycles, tractors and go-karts. And there is a campfire area where you can light a fire with your parents! Or bring your fishing rod and catch a fish at the special fishing pier.

We are a campsite that is suitable for children between 0 and 14 years old.

We work with the theme Fien and Teun. The children between 4 and 8 years old receive a booklet with a treasure hunt and assignments. Once they have done that, they can collect their discovery diploma.

During the May and summer holidays there is small-scale entertainment such as crafts, disco, campfire, fox hunt, water party, ironing beads, old Dutch games, etc.
