Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions.

🏕️ Arrival & Departure

What time can I check in and check out?

You are welcome from 1:30 PM. Check-out from your camping pitch must take place no later than 11:00 AM.

Can I arrive later?

Yes, this is possible. We kindly ask you to inform us in advance. After reception closes at 5:00 PM, you may proceed directly to your pitch. Outside reception opening hours, only limited assistance is available.

Arrival after 9:00 PM is only possible with prior approval.

Can I check out later?

Late check-out is only possible with prior approval from reception and is subject to an additional fee. Availability depends on occupancy levels and is mainly possible during the low and shoulder seasons. Late check-out is not available on Saturdays or public holidays.

If you would like a late check-out, please notify reception no later than the afternoon before your departure day.

Departure after 11:00 AM without prior approval may result in additional charges.

⛺ Camping Pitches & Stay

What is the difference between a standard pitch, comfort pitch and XL pitch?

A standard pitch is suitable for a pleasant camping holiday with basic facilities.

A comfort pitch offers extra convenience, including a water connection and drainage.

An XL pitch provides more space and is ideal if you would like additional room.

All camping and motorhome pitches have an electricity connection, except for the trekking pitches.

Do you offer private sanitary facilities?

Yes, a number of pitches have private sanitary facilities with their own bathroom.

Can I park my car next to my pitch?

Cars must be parked in the designated parking area.

Are electric heaters and portable air conditioners allowed?

Electric heaters and portable air conditioners are not permitted on the campsite.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Visitors & Stay

May I receive visitors?

Visitors are welcome between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Visitors must park their vehicles in the visitor parking area and leave the campsite no later than 9:00 PM.

How many visitors may I receive?

You may receive a maximum of 5 visitors per day, including for occasions such as birthdays.

If you are staying with a group of more than 3 camping units, a maximum of 3 visitors per pitch is permitted. Across all pitches booked together, no more than 6 visitors are allowed in total.

Visitors are kindly requested to report to reception upon arrival.

Visitor fees are €2 per person and €1.50 per car.

👉 This helps us maintain a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere on the campsite.

🔥 Safety & Use

Can I have a campfire?

Open fires such as campfires, fire pits and torches are not permitted.

Barbecuing is allowed, provided it is done safely and with sufficient distance from surrounding objects. We do have a designated campfire area where campfires may be enjoyed.

Are water balloons allowed?

To prevent nuisance and litter, water balloons are not permitted.

Can I set up a party tent?

Party tents and other communal structures are not permitted.

🐶 Dogs & Rules

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead or remain under control at your pitch and do not cause nuisance to other guests.

🚐 Motorhome Pitch Questions

Are the motorhome pitches open all year round?

Yes, our motorhome pitches are open during winter (1 October to 3 April), provided you are self-sufficient.

What size motorhomes are allowed?

Our motorhome pitches are suitable for motorhomes up to 9 metres in length. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate larger motorhomes.

Is electricity available at the motorhome pitches?

Yes, every motorhome pitch has a 6-amp electricity connection.

Can I use the sanitary facilities during winter?

No, the sanitary building is closed during the winter period.

Can I stay on the campsite with my motorhome?

Subject to consultation and depending on weather and ground conditions, this is sometimes possible for motorhomes up to 6.5 metres in length.

🧺 Practical Information & Facilities

Is Wi-Fi available on the campsite?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available.

May I use a Wi-Fi booster?

Wi-Fi boosters are not permitted on our campsite.

Do you offer a bread roll service?

During the low season, fresh bread rolls are available from Saturday until Monday morning.

During school holidays and public holiday periods, fresh bread rolls are available daily.

On weekdays, bread rolls are ready from 9:00 AM, and at weekends from 9:30 AM.

Do you offer entertainment activities?

During the May and summer holidays, we organise small-scale children's activities on weekdays.

Is there a covered area for cooking or sitting?

Yes, there is a covered barn area where you can sit comfortably under shelter.

Can I charge my electric vehicle?

Yes, there is a charging station available on the campsite. This is the only location where electric vehicles may be charged.

Can I rent bicycles?

Bicycle rental is available on the campsite.

What are the reception opening hours?

Low and shoulder season:

  • 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM

High season:

  • 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  • 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
  • 7:00 PM – 7:15 PM

Swimming Pools

Small children's paddling pools up to 1 metre in diameter and 20 cm in water depth are permitted.

Large inflatable or above-ground pools are not allowed.

The use of paddling pools is at your own risk and must not cause inconvenience to other guests. Paddling pools must be moved to a different location every two days.

🌿 Activities & Facilities

Can I use the Barefoot Path as a camping guest?

The Barefoot Path is only accessible with a valid ticket and during opening hours.

Is there an entertainment programme on the campsite?

Yes, during the May and summer holidays we offer small-scale activities for young children (approximately 3–10 years old).

Activities include crafts, games, woodworking with fretsaws, campfire gatherings and helping to care for the chickens. Activities mainly take place on weekdays and not every day.

Participation is entirely optional — children are welcome to join whenever they wish.

We do not have an entertainment team or a full daily programme. Our campsite focuses on peace, space and independent outdoor play. Many children enjoy spending time here exploring nature and playing together.

🚐 Accessibility & Seasons

Can I reach the campsite by public transport?

Yes, the campsite can be reached by public transport. The nearest bus stop is within a short distance of the campsite.

Can I camp all year round?

During the regular season, the campsite is fully open until 1 October.

During winter, limited stays are possible if you are self-sufficient, as the sanitary building is closed.

From 11 December until 4 January, the sanitary building is open. During this period, guests can enjoy Winter Wonderland at Sprookjeswonderland and Zuiderzeelicht at the Zuiderzee Museum.

Is reception open during winter?

Reception has limited opening hours during the winter period.

💶 Cancellations & Reservations

Can I cancel my reservation?

Cancellations are possible in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Free cancellation is not available.

👉 We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance if you are unsure about your plans.

📸 Photography & Video

Are photos and videos taken on the campsite?

During your stay, photos and videos may be taken for use on our website, social media channels and other promotional materials.
